Restore your phone warranty after rooting on Galaxy Y

This is a very important post for every Android root users. I am posting a Trick by which you can restore your phone warranty free afrer rooting easily! The phone will display Samsung stock binary, even if you’re on custom kernel.

Full tutorial:

1. Unroot your Samsung Galacy Y GT-S5360.

2. Boot your phone in download mode by pressing Vol Down + Power Key + Home Button.

3. If your custom bin counts are not 0 then reset it to 0 by follow these steps:

+ Download resetbin.zip from Google Docs (Merruk Kernels users download restbin_merruk.zip) to your SD Card (not in any folder).

+ Boot your phone in recovery mode by pressing Vol Up + Power Key + Home button.

+ Select apply update from sdcard.

+ Select Skin1980-GT-S5360 CWM.zip.

+ Select Install zip from sdcard > Choose zip from sdcard.

+ Select the above downloded file and install it.

+ Flashing may take upto 10 minutes.

+ When you get a message Install from sdcard complete, then select Reboot system now.

+ Your phone will restart.

4. Boot your phone again in download mode & check your Custom Bin Counts will 0.

Warranty restored successfully!
